72 Tele-snaps for Episode 10 of Thunderbirds, "The Uninvited"
-SYNOPSIS-
“As Scott returns from the scene of a fire in Tokyo, Thunderbird 1 is shot down in the Sahara Desert by three unidentified fighter planes. Scott cracks his head as Thunderbird 1 crashes into the sand dunes, but he is found by two explorers, Wilson and Lindsey, who administer first aid. They radio International Rescue and Virgil, Brains and Tin-Tin soon arrive in Thunderbird 2. The explorers explain that they are searching for the legendary lost pyramid of Khamandides, and they continue their search as the International Rescue group return to Tracy Island, the origin of the fighter planes still a mystery.
The next day Wilson drives the explorers’ Jeep too fast, causing their supplies trailer, containing food, water and fuel, to break loose. It overturns, slides down a sand dune and explodes. The pair are stranded without water, but their SOS call to International Rescue is picked up by Alan on Thundrbird 5 and Scott is soon on his way in Thunderbird 1. Wilson and Lindsey make their way to a nearby oasis, but discover that it has long since dried up. However, Lindsey spots a pyramid in the distance on the far side of the oasis, and the pair realize that their search is at an end – they have found the lost pyramid of Khamandides!
They drive to the pyramid, but there is no apparent access. A door mysteriously swings open in the side of the pyramid and they enter, but it then closes behind them, trapping the pair inside. Exploring the pyramid, Wilson and Lindsay discover an eternal fountain surrounded by Treasure, but heat and dehydration is taking its toll on Lindsey and he starts to go mad. Outside, Scott spots the explorers’ Jeep and lands Thunderbird 1 near the pyramid. As he approaches on foot, the door opens and he follows the explorers’ trail inside. The sound of voices leads him to Wilson and Lindsey, but Lindsey has cracked and, in the belief that Scott has come to steal their treasure, tries to shoot him. A gun battle ensues, ending only when Lindsey is stunned by two strangers bearing the same insignia as the mysterious fighter planes that brought down Thunderbird 1 the previous day. Scott, Wilson and the unconscious Lindsey are taken prisoner and travel by monorail deeper into the pyramid, where they find an advanced civilization of Zombites hidden for centuries beneath the desert.
Investigating Scott’s disappearance, Virgil and Gordon arrive near the pyramid in Thunderbird 2. Scott, Wilson and Lindsey are brought before the Zombite Leader in their control room and Scott realizes they are preparing to fire missiles at the International Rescue craft. He and Wilson overpower their guards and fight their way out, seting off back to the entrance with Lindsey in the monorail. En route, they exchange gunfire with a Zombite worker, accidentally detonating gas produced by an industrial plant beneath the pyramid. The trio emerge from the pyramid entrance and Scott radios Virgil to warn him to get clear. Then he and the explorers escape in Thunderbird 1 as the lost pyramid of Khamandides finally explodes in a huge fireball.”

This is my favourite episode of the programme. It's memorable and action-packed and Scott gets the 'starring' role. He commits genocide at the end by blowing up the Zombites.
In the 1990s comic strip by Fleetway, the Zombites spoke English and were given names like Khalid and Aziz. They added more of a plot to them where they shot down Thunderbird 1 so they could copy its design to make fighter planes to wage war on another tribe called the "Nebab". I think towards the end of the comic range, there was a story where the Hood and the Zombites joined forces to destroy IR. (His temple music is also used for their pyramid.)
