Fireman Sam Episode 1 Tele-Snaps

Since the Thomas the Tank Engine tele-snaps went down as well as they did, I decided to do snaps of another kid's show. This is one I've considered for a while, as this is a legitimately good show with very well written characters and decent rescues that show the dangers of fires, but without being an in-your-face PSA.

PLOT:

There is a strong wind in the Welsh Valleys. The winds cause a telephone pole to collapse onto the road. Fireman Sam and his co-workers Elvis Criddlington and Station Officer Basil Steele head out in their fire engine "Jupiter" to move the pole away from the road.

Meanwhile, Bus Driver Trevor Evans tries to "teach" Sam's twin nephew and niece James and Sarah how to fly their kite, ultimately snapping the string, causing it to fly away. He chases after it, but trips and injures himself thanks to mischief maker Norman Price, who's been forced out of his house by his mother Dilys for watching too much TV.

On their way back to the town of Pontypandy, Sam sees the kite come to rest on the top of Dilys' shop roof. He goes up to retrieve it with the ladder, almost falling from the roof in the process. He then returns it to his nephew and niece while his co-workers tend to Trevor's injured arm.
